“Our son’ Scottie, has been in the MVP program for the past three years. We placed Scottie in the MVP program because he expressed a passion for basketball, but never played before. Our son has thrived as a basketball player, starting on his school team and on his current progression may have a chance to play in college. More importantly, Jason and his team are re-enforcing values that he will serve him well in college and beyond. Through the program Scottie is meeting kids with the same aspirations from different backgrounds. He is learning that team work, fellowship and caring should know no ethnic, racial or socio-economic boundaries. With all the challenges raising children in a world that presents them with options and choices before they are ready to evaluate the impacts, we are grateful to have a “second voice” in MVP that supports us in raising Scottie to be a young man of purpose and promise.”
With greatest appreciation,
Scot
